RETREAT 2010 UPDATE Just a peek of things to come - Free Motion Quiting - "Stippling and Beyond", BQ2 quilt, Chenille vest/jacket and reversible quilt technique table runner. In addition to these great classes, there are lots of other fun classes planned. This is just a tease to get you thinking RETREAT ! Don't forget to gather up those "orphan " blocks. The more you bring for this group project, the better your chances of going home with a completed quilt top. How are those hats coming along? It's not too early to start on them. The crazier the better. Any questions regarding retreat can be sent to Karyn Heaney at jkheaney@yahoo.com or Bev Kramer at bevkramer722@yahoo.com. 9/02/2009 06/11/2009 This month we want you to start hunting up all of your ORPHAN BLOCKS. You remember all those blocks that you made and then for one reason or another they got tossed aside and forgotten about. We are planning a project to use those ORPHAN BLOCKS at the 11th Annual Retreat, March 21-25, 2010. So gather them up and make sure to bring them with you to retreat this spring. The more you bring the better the project will be. More info will follow. How are those hats coming along? Are they getting crazier or prettier? It doesn't matter. You just need a hat that you decorated for the "Hat Parade". Later that evening we,ll show them off at our favorite ice cream parlor in Kerrville. Until next time, Karyn and Bev 04/07/2009 2010 Annual Retreat Plans are underway for next year's RGVQG Annual Retreat which is held each year in Kerrville.
