Friendship Day * August Guild Meeting  |
| Above are the “Make It & Take It “ teachers for the August 2009 Friendship Day. Thanks to these teachers, member’s talents were challenged and enticed. The kits they supplied and the instructions made it possible to take each of these skills home to use in the future. Ninety people attended lunch and our guest speaker; Monica Salinas was very informative regarding the children’s needs in the valley. The teachers are, but not in photo order, Yvonne Hylander, Dale Shafer, Michelle Taylor, Vicki Guerra, Jackie Heyes, Fran Wessel, Laura Wilson, Joann Hartwick and Susan Flarity as the Program Director. Friendship Day is a fun filled day for the Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild. Our Green Bee friends at Green Gate Park make wonderful hosts!! Many thanks, Susan Flarity |
