RGV QUILT
GUILD MEMBERSHIP
The RGV Quilt Guild is open to anyone at any skill level interested in quilting. The annual dues of $25 (from January 1-December 31) entitles members admission to monthly meetings which includes a program. Please complete the form on this website and mail with your check to RGV QG, P.O. Box 32, Weslaco, TX 78599-0032. Also included: a bi-monthly newsletter, a membership card (for admission and discounts at fabric shops), a Guild pin and material for a name tag, a directory of the membership and officers with meeting dates and program topics plus a copy of the RGV QG By-Laws. Sixteen (16) Bees are affiliated with the RGV QG and are active throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Guild meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9-noon. Location: South Texas College in Weslaco, Texas. (Exit Expwy 83 at Texas Blved. Proceed south to Bus. 83. Turn right and after 3 blocks, the campus will be on your right.) Entering the campus,PARKING LOT 1 is to the right. BLDG. G is next to the Lot. Guild meeting is held in Room 191--turn right at the first hallway. Click here for Form | |
| MINIATURES At the January Guild meeting, we will vote on the Miniatures. Don't be left out. First place prize is $100, second is $75 and third is $50. Miniatures must be smaller than 96" when all sides are added together and they must be donated to the Guild. A silent auction is held with the miniatures. Last year the miniatures turned in over $1,000 to the quilt show. Please help us beat last years proceeds. They are fun to make.
